After some major struggles I knew something major had to change.

I would be crushed if anyone gave me the tiniest bit of criticism, even if it was constructive.  Gaining a masters degree in counselling in 2001 helped as did becoming a Christian.  But I still felt stuck in certain areas.  I realise now this was for two reasons: I had no plan and I tried to do it alone.  I wouldn't visit a foreign country with no plan or support so why would I attempt to resolve life issues that way?

Working with a safe, non-judgemental person who listened helped me untangle things, learn to cope with present situations and plan ahead instead of just drifting.  I hope to help you do the same.

Thank you for having a look through the Jeffrey Counselling & Coaching website.

If you're anything like me, you've gone through ups and down in life and tried all sorts of ways to manage it.  I tried books, CDs, even the internet to try and fix anything that wasn't working in my life.  But I did this all privately because I didn't want anyone to know I had any problems.  I spent a lot of time trying to be perfect.
